The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a score of 70.2, which is slightly better than Galaxy View 2's 65.3 global score. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) design is extremely thinner and much lighter than the Galaxy View 2, even though it was released many years before. Both of these tablets have the same Android 8.1 Oreo OS.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) counts with a much better looking screen than Galaxy View 2, because although it has a much smaller display, it also counts with a way better screen pixels density and a slightly better resolution of 1200 x 1920. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) and Galaxy View 2 both count with extremely similar processing units, and although the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.

Galaxy View 2 features a much better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), because it has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 400 GB and 64 GB internal memory capacity. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy View 2.

Galaxy View 2 features a much longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), because it has a 12000mAh battery capacity against 7300mAh.
