Galaxy View 2 has a global score of 65.3, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0's 62.8 overall score. Galaxy View 2's body is way newer, but way heavier and way thicker than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0. These tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy View 2 has newer 8.1 Oreo version while Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has Android 7.1 Nougat, so it gives you lots of additional features and optimized performance.
The Galaxy View 2 features a bit better performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and a greater number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 counts with a slightly better looking screen than Galaxy View 2, because although it has a lot smaller screen and a way lower 768 x 1024 resolution, it also counts with a greater screen density.
The Galaxy View 2 has a way bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 400 GB. Samsung Galaxy View 2 counts with a really longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has 12000mAh of battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 features a very superior camera than Galaxy View 2.
Although Samsung Galaxy View 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy View 2, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, letting go a couple features and specifications.
