Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy View 2 is better than Xperia Tablet S, with a score of 65.3 against 58.9. Although the Samsung Galaxy View 2 is newer than the Xperia Tablet S, it is heavier and way thicker. Both tablets in this comparison review work with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy View 2 has newer 8.1 Oreo version while Xperia Tablet S has Android 4.1.1, so it gives you lots of additional features.
The Samsung Galaxy View 2 counts with just a bit better processing power than Xperia Tablet S, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with more processing cores and more RAM memory. The Sony Xperia Tablet S counts with a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy View 2, because although it has a much smaller screen and a way lower 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, it also counts with a greater display density.
Samsung Galaxy View 2 features a quite bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Sony Xperia Tablet S, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy View 2 also has an external SD slot that holds up to 400 GB. The Galaxy View 2 features a very superior battery lifetime than Sony Xperia Tablet S.
Xperia Tablet S counts with a much better camera than Galaxy View 2.
Although Samsung Galaxy View 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Sony Xperia Tablet S, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Sony Xperia Tablet S. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy View 2, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Sony Xperia Tablet S, giving up some specs and features.
