LG G Pad 8.3 is better than Sony Tablet S, with a general score of 65.9 against 57.5. LG G Pad 8.3 is a noticeably newer device, and it's also somewhat thinner and notably lighter than the Sony Tablet S. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (operating system), but the LG G Pad 8.3 has the newer 4.4 version while Sony Tablet S has Android 4.0 version, so it gives you some extra features and a performance increase.

LG G Pad 8.3 features a way better display than Sony Tablet S, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot better quantity of pixels per inch of display and a much better 1200 x 1920 resolution. The Sony Tablet S features a greater storage capacity for apps and games than LG G Pad 8.3, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that admits 32 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage.

The LG G Pad 8.3 counts with a superior processor than Sony Tablet S, because it has a higher number of cores and more RAM memory. The Sony Tablet S features a bit longer battery life than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4600mAh. LG G Pad 8.3 shoots much better pictures and videos than Sony Tablet S, and although they both have a back camera with a 5 mega-pixels, the LG G Pad 8.3 also has a lot better 1920x1080 video quality.

Even being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, LG G Pad 8.3 is also a bargain compared to others.
