Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface 2 is better than the Sony Tablet S, with a global score of 63.4 against 57.5. The Microsoft Surface 2 comes with Windows RT 8.1 operating system, while Sony Tablet S works with Android 4.0 operating system. Microsoft Surface 2's design is extremely newer and somewhat thinner, but also somewhat heavier than Sony Tablet S.
The Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a bit sharper display than Sony Tablet S, because it has a little bit bigger screen, more pixels per display inch and a much better 1080 x 1920px resolution. The Microsoft Surface 2 has a better performing processor than Sony Tablet S, because it has a higher number of cores (and also faster) and a greater amount of RAM memory.
Sony Tablet S shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface 2. They have a 5 mega-pixels back camera, the same (HD) video quality and the same video frame rates. Microsoft Surface 2 features a little bit better memory capacity to install applications and games than Sony Tablet S, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 32 GB more internal storage.
The Sony Tablet S has a much better battery duration than Microsoft Surface 2.
Even being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing, the Microsoft Surface 2 is also by far the cheapest, which makes this tablet a no doubt choice.
