Comparison review
The Samsung Ativ Tab has a global score of 66.7, which is much better than Sony Tablet S's 57.5 overall score. The Samsung Ativ Tab is a newer tablet device, and it's also just a bit lighter and somewhat thinner than Sony Tablet S. The Samsung Ativ Tab comes with Windows RT operating system, and Sony Tablet S comes with Android 4.0 operating system.
The Samsung Ativ Tab has a better performing processor than Sony Tablet S, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has a greater amount of RAM and an additional GPU. Samsung Ativ Tab features a display that is very similar to Sony Tablet S's display, because although the Samsung Ativ Tab has a little bit lower pixel number in each inch of display, it also counts with a bit bigger screen and a quite better 768 x 1366 pixels resolution.
Sony Tablet S shoots much better pictures and videos than Samsung Ativ Tab. Both have the same video frame rates, the same 1280x720 video resolution and a 5 megapixels resolution back-facing camera. Samsung Ativ Tab has a much bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Sony Tablet S, because it has a SD extension slot that holds up to 64 GB and 32 GB more internal storage.
Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Sony Tablet S, because it has 8200mAh of battery capacity.
The Samsung Ativ Tab not only is the best tablets in our current comparison, but it's also a bargain compared to the other ones.
