Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is much better than the Sony Tablet S, getting a global score of 65 against 57.5. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has the newer 4.1 version while Sony Tablet S has Android 4.0, so it provides a couple nice extra features and performance tweaks. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T)'s construction is newer, a bit thinner and just a bit lighter than the Sony Tablet S.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with a little more vivid display than Sony Tablet S, because although it has a little less pixels per inch of display, and they both have an equal 800 x 1280 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) also counts with a bit bigger display. The Sony Tablet S features a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 32 GB, the Sony Tablet S also has more internal memory.

Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) features a little bit better processing power than Sony Tablet S, and although they both have the same number of cores and 1 GB of RAM memory, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) also has an additional graphics processor. Sony Tablet S has a very superior camera than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality, the Sony Tablet S also has a back camera with much more mega-pixels.

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with a much longer battery lifetime than Sony Tablet S, because it has a 7000mAh battery capacity.

Despite of being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is also a lot cheaper.
