Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is a bit better than the Sony Tablet S, having a 60.1 score against 57.5. Both of these tablets work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a more recent 5.0 version while Sony Tablet S has Android 4.0. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is a newer tablet, and it's also much lighter and thinner than Sony Tablet S.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 and Sony Tablet S both feature very similar processing units, because although the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has an inferior number of cores , it also counts with a greater amount of RAM. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 features a bit more vivid screen than Sony Tablet S, although it has a bit lower 1024 x 768px resolution, a quite smaller screen and a bit inferior count of pixels per inch of screen.

The Sony Tablet S has a better camera than Galaxy Tab A 8.0. They have the same video frame rates, the same 1280x720 (HD) video definition and a 5 megapixels resolution camera. Sony Tablet S features a little bit more memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 32 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage.

Sony Tablet S features superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
