The Galaxy Tab A8 is a bit better than the Sony Tablet S, getting a general score of 62.6 against 57.5. Both tablets in this comparison review use Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab A8 has newer 11 version while Sony Tablet S has Android 4.0. Galaxy Tab A8's construction is incredibly newer, thinner and somewhat lighter than the Sony Tablet S.

The Sony Tablet S counts with a bit better screen than Galaxy Tab A8, although it has a way worse resolution of 800 x 1280px, a little bit smaller screen and a quite worse pixel density.
