Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab E is a little bit better than the Sony Tablet S, getting a 60.7 score against 57.5. Galaxy Tab E's design is incredibly newer, lighter and somewhat thinner than the Sony Tablet S. Both of these tablets have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab E has the newer 4.4 version while Sony Tablet S has Android 4.0 version, providing the user some nice extra features.

Sony Tablet S has a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280px resolution, the Sony Tablet S also counts with a quite higher count of pixels per inch in the screen. Galaxy Tab E counts with a bit better processing power than Sony Tablet S, because it has a larger number of cores and 512 MB more RAM memory.

Sony Tablet S has a lot bigger storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab E, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 32 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab E has a battery lifetime that's just as good as Sony Tablet S's battery life.

The Sony Tablet S and the Galaxy Tab E have really similar cameras, both of them have the same resolution back facing camera, the same video frame rates and the same (HD) video quality.
