Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a global score of 74.6, which is much better than Sony Tablet S's 57.5 score. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a newer 4.4 version while Sony Tablet S has Android 4.0 version. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1's design is extremely newer, noticeably thinner and much lighter than Sony Tablet S.

The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a much more vibrant screen than Sony Tablet S, because it has a much higher display pixel density, a bit larger display and a lot better resolution of 1600 x 2560px. The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with just a bit more memory capacity to install games and applications than Sony Tablet S, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has an external memory card slot that holds up to 64 GB.
