The Sony Vaio Tap 11 has a score of 66, which is a little bit better than Huawei MediaPad M1's 61.5 global score. Even being the best in this comparison review, the Sony Vaio Tap 11 is a notably thicker and noticeably heavier device than the Huawei MediaPad M1. Sony Vaio Tap 11 has Windows 8 OS, while Huawei MediaPad M1 works with Android 4.2.2 OS.

The Huawei MediaPad M1 has a little better hardware performance than Sony Vaio Tap 11, because although it has 3 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with more cores. Sony Vaio Tap 11 features a bit sharper display than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a way larger screen, a bit more pixels per screen inch and a much better resolution of 1080 x 1920.

Sony Vaio Tap 11 has a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage. The Huawei MediaPad M1 has improved battery lifetime than Sony Vaio Tap 11, because it has a 4800mAh battery capacity instead of 3800mAh.

The Huawei MediaPad M1 has a little bit better camera than Sony Vaio Tap 11, although it has a lot less megapixels back facing camera.

Although Sony Vaio Tap 11 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Huawei MediaPad M1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei MediaPad M1. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Sony Vaio Tap 11, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Huawei MediaPad M1, giving up some specifications.
