Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is just a bit better than Sony Vaio Tap 11, getting a global score of 72.2 against 66. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a just a bit heavier but a little bit thinner tablet than Sony Vaio Tap 11. Both devices in our current comparison have Windows OS, but the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has the newer 8.1 Pro version while Sony Vaio Tap 11 has Windows 8, so it gives some additional features and some performance improvements.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a little better processing power than Sony Vaio Tap 11, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Sony Vaio Tap 11 has a bit sharper screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, although it has a bit worse number of pixels per inch in the display, a little smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a bit better camera than Sony Vaio Tap 11, although it has a much lower 5 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Sony Vaio Tap 11, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity.
The Sony Vaio Tap 11 features a much longer battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Pro 3.
