Sony Vaio Tap 11 has an overall score of 66, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0)'s 60.7 score. Sony Vaio Tap 11 works with Windows 8 operating system, while Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) comes with Android 4.1 operating system. The Sony Vaio Tap 11 is a heavier but just a bit thinner tablet than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0).

Sony Vaio Tap 11 features just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Vaio Tap 11 also has a greater amount of RAM. The Sony Vaio Tap 11 features a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a way bigger screen, a lot better 1080 x 1920px resolution and a little bit more pixels per inch in the screen.

The Sony Vaio Tap 11 has a much bigger storage for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Sony Vaio Tap 11, although it has a lot worse resolution back-facing camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features a bit better battery performance than Sony Vaio Tap 11, because it has a 5 percent greater battery capacity.

Although Sony Vaio Tap 11 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Sony Vaio Tap 11, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), letting go a couple specifications.
