Comparison review

Sony Xperia Tablet S has a global score of 58.9, which is a little bit better than the Acer Predator 8's 57.7 overall score. Both of these tablets use Android OS (operating system), but the Sony Xperia Tablet S has the previous 4.1.1 version while Acer Predator 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version. Even being the best tablet in this comparison review, Sony Xperia Tablet S's construction is notably older, incredibly heavier and extremely thicker than the Acer Predator 8.

The Acer Predator 8 counts with a processor that is very similar to the CPU in Xperia Tablet S, because although the Acer Predator 8 has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, and they both have the same number of cores, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM. Acer Predator 8 counts with a bit better screen than Xperia Tablet S, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with way more pixels per display inch and a lot better resolution of 1200 x 1920px.

Acer Predator 8 counts with just a bit better camera than Xperia Tablet S, although it has a camera with much less mega pixels. Xperia Tablet S has a much bigger memory for apps and games than Acer Predator 8, and although they both have a SD extension slot that supports up to 128 GB, the Xperia Tablet S also has 64 GB internal storage.

Acer Predator 8 features a way better battery duration than Sony Xperia Tablet S.

Despite of being the best tablet in our current comparison, Sony Xperia Tablet S is also cheaper than the other tablet, which makes it a simple decision.
