The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is better than the Xperia Tablet S, getting a global score of 68.5 against 58.9. Both tablets we compare here work with Android OS (operating system), but the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a more recent 4.2.2 version while Xperia Tablet S has Android 4.1.1 version, so it provides the user a lot of extra features and increased performance. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is a newer tablet device, and it's also a lot thinner and extremely lighter than Xperia Tablet S.
