Comparison review

Asus MeMO Pad 8 is a bit better than the Sony Xperia Tablet S, having a 61.2 score against 58.9. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 body is newer, notably lighter and much thinner than the Sony Xperia Tablet S. Both of these tablets work with Android OS, but Asus MeMO Pad 8 has newer 4.4 version and Sony Xperia Tablet S has Android 4.1.1.

Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a more vivid display than Xperia Tablet S, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much better screen density and a much better resolution of 1920 x 1200. Sony Xperia Tablet S features a much greater memory to install applications and games than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because it has a SD extension slot that supports up to 128 GB and more internal memory capacity.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a bit superior processing unit than Sony Xperia Tablet S, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, and they both have 4 processing cores, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also counts with more RAM. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Xperia Tablet S, although it has a back camera with much less mega-pixels resolution.

Asus MeMO Pad 8's battery lifetime is very similar to Xperia Tablet S's battery performance.
