Comparison review

The Sony Xperia Tablet S has a global score of 58.9, which is just a bit better than the HP ProPad 600's 58.2 global score. Sony Xperia Tablet S is an older and thicker tablet device than the HP ProPad 600, but Sony could make it somewhat lighter anyway. The Sony Xperia Tablet S comes with Android 4.1.1 OS, while HP ProPad 600 counts with Windows 8.1 OS.

The HP ProPad 600 features a better looking screen than Sony Xperia Tablet S, because it has a higher quantity of pixels per inch of screen, a much higher resolution of 1200 x 1920px and a little bit bigger screen. The Xperia Tablet S features a lot bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than HP ProPad 600. Both of them have equal 64 GB internal storage capacity.

The HP ProPad 600 counts with a little better processing power than Xperia Tablet S, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, and they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the HP ProPad 600 also counts with a larger amount of RAM. HP ProPad 600 features a little bit better camera than Sony Xperia Tablet S. Both have a same resolution back facing camera.

The HP ProPad 600 has a much better battery life than Xperia Tablet S.

Although Xperia Tablet S is a better device, it costs a lot more than the HP ProPad 600, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the HP ProPad 600. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Xperia Tablet S, but if you don't you can save some money and get the HP ProPad 600, resigning some features and specs.
