Huawei MediaPad M1 is slightly better than the Xperia Tablet S, getting a 61.5 score against 58.9. Both tablets in our current comparison work with Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei MediaPad M1 has a newer 4.2.2 version and Xperia Tablet S has Android 4.1.1 version. Huawei MediaPad M1 is a newer tablet, and it is also a lot thinner and notably lighter than Xperia Tablet S.
The Xperia Tablet S has just a little better performance than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have the same number of cores and a 1 GB RAM, the Xperia Tablet S also has an additional graphics processor. Huawei MediaPad M1 has a much better looking screen than Xperia Tablet S, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 1280 x 800, the Huawei MediaPad M1 also counts with a little bit greater quantity of pixels in each inch of screen.
The Sony Xperia Tablet S and the Huawei MediaPad M1 have extremely similar cameras, although the Huawei MediaPad M1 has a back facing camera with way less MP. Xperia Tablet S counts with much more memory capacity to install applications and games than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has more internal memory capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB.
Huawei MediaPad M1 has a way better battery duration than Sony Xperia Tablet S.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, Huawei MediaPad M1 is also by far the cheapest one.
