Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has an overall score of 60.4, which is slightly better than Xperia Tablet S's 58.9 global score. Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0's construction is notably thinner and extremely lighter than the Xperia Tablet S. Both of these devices come with Android operating system, but Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has newer 4.3 version and Xperia Tablet S has Android 4.1.1.

Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 features a sharper display than Xperia Tablet S, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also counts with a bit better pixels density. Sony Xperia Tablet S has a bit better processing power than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU and a 1 GB RAM, the Sony Xperia Tablet S also has a faster graphics processing unit working at 416 megahertz.

Sony Xperia Tablet S counts with a lot bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 128 GB and more internal memory. The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 takes much better photos and videos than Sony Xperia Tablet S, although it has a back facing camera with way less MP.
