Comparison review

Sony Xperia Tablet S has an overall score of 58.9, which is slightly better than the LG G Pad F 8.0's global score of 58.2. Both tablets we compare here use Android OS, but Sony Xperia Tablet S has older 4.1.1 version and LG G Pad F 8.0 has Android 5.0 Lollipop. The Sony Xperia Tablet S design is much older, extremely heavier and much thicker than the LG G Pad F 8.0.

Xperia Tablet S counts with a bit faster CPU than LG G Pad F 8.0, and although they both have the same number of cores and a 1 GB RAM memory, the Xperia Tablet S also has an extra graphics processor. The Xperia Tablet S has a little bit better looking display than LG G Pad F 8.0, because although it has a little bit worse number of pixels per inch in the display, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Xperia Tablet S also counts with a bigger screen.

LG G Pad F 8.0 takes clearer photos and videos than Sony Xperia Tablet S, although it has a way less mega pixels resolution camera in the back. Sony Xperia Tablet S features a much better memory capacity to store more apps and games than LG G Pad F 8.0, and although they both have an external memory slot that allows up to 128 GB, the Sony Xperia Tablet S also has 48 GB more internal storage capacity.

The LG G Pad F 8.0 counts with a much longer battery lifetime than Xperia Tablet S.
