Comparison review

Xperia Tablet S is a bit better than the LG G Pad II 8.0, with a score of 58.9 against 58.3. Xperia Tablet S's body is noticeably older, thicker and way heavier than the LG G Pad II 8.0. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia Tablet S has the older 4.1.1 version while LG G Pad II 8.0 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version.

Xperia Tablet S has a little sharper screen than LG G Pad II 8.0, because although it has a little worse pixel count per inch in the display, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Xperia Tablet S also counts with a bigger display. Xperia Tablet S features a bit more powerful CPU than LG G Pad II 8.0, because although it has less RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia Tablet S also counts with an extra GPU.

LG G Pad II 8.0 shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Xperia Tablet S, although it has a back facing camera with lot less mega-pixels resolution. Xperia Tablet S has a very superior memory to install applications and games than LG G Pad II 8.0, and although they both have a SD memory slot that supports up to 128 GB, the Xperia Tablet S also has 64 GB internal storage.

LG G Pad II 8.0 has a way better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia Tablet S.
