Comparison review

Xperia Tablet S is a bit better than Microsoft Surface RT, getting a 58.9 score against 58.4. The Xperia Tablet S has Android 4.1.1 operating system, while Microsoft Surface RT works with Windows RT operating system. The Xperia Tablet S design is much thicker but lighter than the Microsoft Surface RT, and both were only released with a few months difference.

The Xperia Tablet S counts with a little more vivid display than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a little bit smaller screen and a quite lower resolution of 800 x 1280px, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per display inch. The Microsoft Surface RT features a little faster processing unit than Xperia Tablet S, and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the Microsoft Surface RT also has a greater amount of RAM memory and a much better graphics co-processor running at 520 megahertz.

Xperia Tablet S counts with a very superior memory to store more games and applications than Microsoft Surface RT. Both of them have the same 64 GB internal memory capacity. The Microsoft Surface RT counts with a battery lifetime that is very similar to the Xperia Tablet S one. The Xperia Tablet S features a much better camera than Microsoft Surface RT, because it has a back camera with a lot higher resolution.

Although Xperia Tablet S is a better device, it costs a lot more than Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Microsoft Surface RT. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Microsoft Surface RT, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most with your money.
