Comparison review
The Samsung Ativ Tab has a score of 66.7, which is better than Xperia Tablet S's general score of 58.9. The Samsung Ativ Tab comes with Windows RT OS, while Xperia Tablet S works with Android 4.1.1 OS. The Samsung Ativ Tab construction is thinner and just a little lighter than the Xperia Tablet S, even though both were only released with a couple months difference.
Samsung Ativ Tab features a processor that's just as good as the processor in Xperia Tablet S, because although the Samsung Ativ Tab has a weaker GPU running at 400 MHz and an inferior number of cores (although faster), it also counts with more RAM. Xperia Tablet S has a little more vivid screen than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a little bit worse resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch of screen.
The Samsung Ativ Tab has a bit better camera than Xperia Tablet S, although it has a back-facing camera with lot less mega-pixels resolution. The Xperia Tablet S counts with a little bit better memory to store more games and applications than Samsung Ativ Tab, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory, the Xperia Tablet S also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 128 GB.
Samsung Ativ Tab has a very superior battery life than Xperia Tablet S.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xperia Tablet S, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xperia Tablet S. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Ativ Tab, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xperia Tablet S, letting go some specs and features.
