Comparison review

Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has an overall score of 63, which is a bit better than the Xperia Tablet S's 58.9 global score. These tablets have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has a newer 4.4.2 version and Xperia Tablet S has Android 4.1.1 version, giving some additional features and enhanced performance. Even though Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE and Xperia Tablet S were released with only a couple of months difference, Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE's design is a little heavier but also a lot thinner.

Xperia Tablet S has a bit better processing power than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM, and they both have 4 cores, the Xperia Tablet S also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. The Xperia Tablet S has just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Xperia Tablet S also counts with a bit more pixels per inch in the screen.

The Xperia Tablet S has a lot bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because it has 64 GB internal storage and a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB. Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Xperia Tablet S, although it has a back facing camera with a much lower 5 mega-pixels resolution.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE counts with a battery performance that is just as good as the battery lifetime in Xperia Tablet S.

Although Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xperia Tablet S, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xperia Tablet S. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Xperia Tablet S, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your budget.
