Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is just a bit better than the Xperia Tablet S, having a 60.7 score against 58.9. The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) construction is thinner and noticeably lighter than the Xperia Tablet S, although they were only released with a couple months difference. These devices work with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has older 4.1 version and Xperia Tablet S has Android 4.1.1.

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) counts with a bit sharper screen than Sony Xperia Tablet S, because although it has a way worse 600 x 1024 pixels resolution and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher quantity of pixels in each screen inch. The Sony Xperia Tablet S counts with a better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have a 1 GB RAM, the Sony Xperia Tablet S also has a graphics processing unit and a greater number of faster cores.
