Comparison review
Xperia Tablet S is just a bit better than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, having a general score of 58.9 against 57.5. Although it's the best in this review, we must highlight that it is also older, thicker and a lot heavier. Both tablets in our current comparison come with Android OS, but the Xperia Tablet S has a more recent 4.1.1 version while GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has Android 4.1 version, providing some additional features.
Xperia Tablet S counts with a little faster processor than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM, the Xperia Tablet S also has more processing cores and a graphics processor. The Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids features just a bit better screen than Xperia Tablet S, because although it has a lot lower 600 x 1024 resolution and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a quite higher screen density.
The Xperia Tablet S counts with a much bigger storage for applications and games than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB and 64 GB internal storage. The Xperia Tablet S takes clearer pictures and videos than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a camera in the back with much more MP.
GALAXY Tab 3 Kids counts with a really longer battery life than Xperia Tablet S.
Although Xperia Tablet S is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Xperia Tablet S, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, letting go some specifications.
