Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a general score of 64.9, which is better than Xperia Tablet S's 58.9 overall score. Both tablets in our current comparison have Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has 5.1 Lollipop version and Xperia Tablet S has Android 4.1.1, so it provides the user a couple additional features. The Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is a newer portable tablet, and it's also extremely thinner and much lighter than the Xperia Tablet S.

Xperia Tablet S counts with a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has a just a bit lower pixel density, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Xperia Tablet S also counts with a larger screen. The Xperia Tablet S features a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has 512 MB lesser RAM memory, and they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Xperia Tablet S also counts with an extra graphics co-processor.

The Xperia Tablet S counts with a much bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, and although they both have a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB, the Xperia Tablet S also has 64 GB internal memory. The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 features a much longer battery performance than Sony Xperia Tablet S.

Galaxy Tab E 8.0 captures a lot better photographs and videos than Xperia Tablet S, although it has a camera with a much lower 5 mega pixels resolution.
