Xperia Tablet Z is better than the Xperia Tablet S, having a 68.5 score against 58.9. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but Xperia Tablet Z has newer 4.4.4 version and Xperia Tablet S has Android 4.1.1, so it provides the user a couple additional features and performance tweaks. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z features a way better battery performance than Xperia Tablet S.
Although Xperia Tablet Z is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Sony Xperia Tablet S, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Sony Xperia Tablet S. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xperia Tablet Z, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Sony Xperia Tablet S, letting go some features and specs.
