Comparison review
Xperia Tablet Z is better than the Xperia Tablet S, having a 68.5 score against 58.9. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but Xperia Tablet Z has newer 4.4.4 version and Xperia Tablet S has Android 4.1.1, so it provides the user a couple additional features and performance tweaks. Xperia Tablet Z is a somewhat lighter and extremely thinner tablet than Xperia Tablet S, although both of them were only released with a couple months difference.
The Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a sharper screen than Xperia Tablet S, because it has a little bit larger display, a way higher resolution of 1200 x 1920px and a higher display density. Xperia Tablet Z has just a bit better performance than Xperia Tablet S, because although it has a slower 400 MHz graphics processing unit, and they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Xperia Tablet Z also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory.
Xperia Tablet S has a much better storage capacity to install games and applications than Sony Xperia Tablet Z, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 128 GB. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z counts with a better camera than Xperia Tablet S, because it has a more mega pixels back camera.
The Sony Xperia Tablet Z features a way better battery performance than Xperia Tablet S.
Although Xperia Tablet Z is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Sony Xperia Tablet S, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Sony Xperia Tablet S. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xperia Tablet Z, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Sony Xperia Tablet S, letting go some features and specs.
