Comparison review

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a little bit better than the Xperia Tablet Z, having a 72.2 score against 67.3. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 comes with Windows 8.1 Pro OS, and Xperia Tablet Z works with Android 4.4.4 OS. Microsoft Surface Pro 3's body is newer, but a lot thicker and much heavier than Xperia Tablet Z.

The Sony Xperia Tablet Z features a bit sharper screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a little bit worse 1200 x 1920 resolution and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit better screen density. Sony Xperia Tablet Z counts with just a bit better processing power than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has 6 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a GPU and more cpu cores (although slower).

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia Tablet Z, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity. The Xperia Tablet Z captures just a bit better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Xperia Tablet Z also has a back camera with lot more mega-pixels.

The Xperia Tablet Z has a really longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 3.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 costs a bit more than Xperia Tablet Z, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
