The Sony Xperia Tablet Z is much better than the Alcatel 3T 8, with a general score of 68.5 against 58.6. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z is a much older and a lot heavier tablet than the Alcatel 3T 8, but Sony made it somewhat thinner anyway. Both tablets in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Sony Xperia Tablet Z has 4.4.4 version while Alcatel 3T 8 has Android 8.1 Oreo.
The Sony Xperia Tablet Z features a little faster processing unit than Alcatel 3T 8, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit and a 2 GB RAM memory, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z also has a graphics processing unit. The Xperia Tablet Z has a much sharper display than Alcatel 3T 8, because it has a little bit greater pixels density, a larger display and a way higher 1200 x 1920 resolution.
The Alcatel 3T 8 captures just a bit better photos and videos than Xperia Tablet Z, although it has a much less MP resolution camera in the back and a lot lower (HD) video quality. Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Alcatel 3T 8, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports 64 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory capacity.
The Xperia Tablet Z features a superior battery life than Alcatel 3T 8, because it has a 47% more battery size.
