Comparison review

Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a score of 68.5, which is much better than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0's 60.4 score. Both tablets in our current comparison come with Android OS, but the Sony Xperia Tablet Z has the newer 4.4.4 version while Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has Android 4.3, offering some extra features. Sony Xperia Tablet Z's body is thinner but heavier than the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0.

The Xperia Tablet Z has just a little better hardware performance than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and although they both have a 400 megahertz graphics processor and 4 processing cores, the Xperia Tablet Z also has 1 GB more RAM. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z features a bit sharper display than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has a much better resolution of 1200 x 1920, a larger screen and a little better count of pixels per inch in the screen.

The Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a way bigger memory to store more games and applications than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has more internal storage capacity and a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB. The Xperia Tablet Z features superior battery life than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.

Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has a camera that's very similar to Sony Xperia Tablet Z's camera, although the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has a much lower 1280x720 video quality and a way less mega-pixels resolution back facing camera.

Although Xperia Tablet Z is a better device, it is way more expensive than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most with your budget.
