Comparison review

The Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a global score of 68.5, which is much better than LG G Pad II 8.0's overall score of 58.3. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z is a much older and heavier portable tablet than LG G Pad II 8.0, but Sony managed to build it thinner anyway. Both tablets in our current comparison use Android OS, but Sony Xperia Tablet Z has the previous 4.4.4 version and LG G Pad II 8.0 has Android 5.0 Lollipop.

The Sony Xperia Tablet Z counts with a much better looking screen than LG G Pad II 8.0, because it has a way better resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels, a just a bit higher screen density and a larger screen. Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a little bit better hardware performance than LG G Pad II 8.0, and although they both have 4 cpu cores, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z also has a greater amount of RAM and a graphics co-processor.

LG G Pad II 8.0 features just a bit bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia Tablet Z, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the LG G Pad II 8.0 also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 128 GB.

The Xperia Tablet Z counts with a superior battery life than LG G Pad II 8.0, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity instead of 4200mAh. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z features a bit better camera than LG G Pad II 8.0, because it has a back-facing camera with much more mega pixels.
