Comparison review
The Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a global score of 68.5, which is slightly better than LG G Pad III 8.0's 64.3 general score. Both of these tablets have Android OS (operating system), but Sony Xperia Tablet Z has the older 4.4.4 version while LG G Pad III 8.0 has Android 7.0 Nougat. Sony Xperia Tablet Z's construction is way heavier but thinner than the LG G Pad III 8.0.
LG G Pad III 8.0's processor is very similar to the processing unit in Sony Xperia Tablet Z, because although the LG G Pad III 8.0 has doesn't have an extra GPU, and they both have the same RAM memory amount, it also counts with a higher number of cores. Xperia Tablet Z features a little more vivid screen than LG G Pad III 8.0, because although it has a just a bit less pixels per screen inch, and they both have an equal 1200 x 1920 resolution, the Xperia Tablet Z also counts with a bigger display.
The LG G Pad III 8.0 counts with a very superior storage capacity to install applications and games than Xperia Tablet Z, because although it has only 16 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. Xperia Tablet Z counts with greater battery lifetime than LG G Pad III 8.0, because it has a 25 percent larger battery capacity.
The Sony Xperia Tablet Z captures a little bit better photos and videos than LG G Pad III 8.0, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z also has a much better resolution camera.
