Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a general score of 68.5, which is a little bit better than the Microsoft Surface 3's global score of 66.3. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z body is incredibly lighter and way thinner than the Microsoft Surface 3, despite of the fact that it was released many years before. Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a brighter display than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a little lower 1200 x 1920 resolution and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a quite higher pixel amount in each inch of display.
Microsoft Surface 3 features much more storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xperia Tablet Z, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Xperia Tablet Z counts with just a bit better performance than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have 4 cpu cores, the Xperia Tablet Z also counts with an additional graphics processor.
The Sony Xperia Tablet Z has just a bit better camera than Microsoft Surface 3, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z also has a camera in the back with more mega-pixels. Xperia Tablet Z features a superior battery life than Microsoft Surface 3.
