Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a general score of 72.2, which is just a bit better than the Xperia Tablet Z's 68.5 general score. Microsoft Surface Pro 3's body is newer than Xperia Tablet Z's, but it is incredibly heavier and noticeably thicker. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 works with Windows 8.1 Pro OS, while Xperia Tablet Z comes with Android 4.4.4 OS.
Xperia Tablet Z features a bit superior CPU than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has lesser RAM, it also counts with a graphics processing unit and a higher number of cores. Xperia Tablet Z counts with a little bit better screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a little smaller screen and a little worse 1200 x 1920 resolution, it also counts with a little better screen density.
