Xperia Tablet Z is just a bit better than Microsoft Surface Pro 7, having a 68.5 score against 66.9. The Xperia Tablet Z body is thinner and a lot lighter than the Microsoft Surface Pro 7, even though it was released many years before. Xperia Tablet Z has Android 4.4.4 operating system, and Microsoft Surface Pro 7 works with Windows 10 operating system.

The Xperia Tablet Z features a bit better looking display than Microsoft Surface Pro 7, although it has a lot worse resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels, a little worse count of pixels per screen inch and a quite smaller display. The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 counts with a much greater memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia Tablet Z, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 counts with a bit better CPU than Xperia Tablet Z, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit and a lower number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with 2 GB more RAM. Xperia Tablet Z takes clearer photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 7, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Xperia Tablet Z also has a back facing camera with a better resolution.

Sony Xperia Tablet Z features a superior battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Pro 7.

The Xperia Tablet Z costs a bit more money than the Microsoft Surface Pro 7, but you can get a better tablet for that extra dollars.
