The Xperia Tablet Z is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, having a global score of 68.5 against 63. Both of these tablets include Android operating system, but the Xperia Tablet Z has 4.4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has Android 4.4.2 version, so it gives lots of additional features. Even though the Xperia Tablet Z and Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE were released only a couple of months apart, the Xperia Tablet Z is noticeably thinner and somewhat lighter.

The Sony Xperia Tablet Z counts with a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, and although they both have a same size screen, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z also has a lot higher 1200 x 1920 resolution and a way greater pixels number per inch in the display. The Xperia Tablet Z counts with a much bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 64 GB, the Xperia Tablet Z also has 32 GB internal memory.

The Xperia Tablet Z features just a little better performance than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM and 4 cores, the Xperia Tablet Z also has an additional graphics processing unit. Sony Xperia Tablet Z features a superior battery duration than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE. Xperia Tablet Z has a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because it has a much better (Full HD) video definition and a much more MP back facing camera.

Xperia Tablet Z costs more money than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
