The Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a general score of 68.5, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE's 62.5 score. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z design is lighter and extremely thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE. Both devices in this review come with Android OS, but Sony Xperia Tablet Z has the newer 4.4.4 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has Android 3.1.

Xperia Tablet Z features a better screen than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Xperia Tablet Z also has a lot higher amount of pixels per display inch and a lot higher 1200 x 1920px resolution. Xperia Tablet Z features a superior performance than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has a GPU, 2 more processing cores and a higher amount of RAM memory.

Xperia Tablet Z counts with a way bigger storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Xperia Tablet Z also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 64 GB. Although Sony Xperia Tablet Z is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE.
