Xperia Tablet Z features a better screen than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Xperia Tablet Z also has a lot higher amount of pixels per display inch and a lot higher 1200 x 1920px resolution. Xperia Tablet Z features a superior performance than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has a GPU, 2 more processing cores and a higher amount of RAM memory.
Xperia Tablet Z counts with a way bigger storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Xperia Tablet Z also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 64 GB. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE features a bit longer battery lifetime than Xperia Tablet Z, because it has a 6800mAh battery size against 6000mAh.
Xperia Tablet Z captures much better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has a camera in the back with a much higher resolution and a way better (Full HD) video definition.
Although Sony Xperia Tablet Z is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
