Xperia Tablet Z has a global score of 68.5, which is much better than Galaxy Tab 10.1's 58.1 score. The Xperia Tablet Z design is newer, extremely thinner and lighter than the Galaxy Tab 10.1. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but the Xperia Tablet Z has a more recent 4.4.4 version and Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4 version.
The Xperia Tablet Z features a more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Xperia Tablet Z also has a lot better screen pixel density and a much higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. The Xperia Tablet Z has a way bigger storage for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Xperia Tablet Z also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 64 GB.
Sony Xperia Tablet Z counts with a superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has 2 more processing cores and a graphics processing unit.
