The Sony Xperia Tablet Z is slightly better than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, getting a general score of 68.5 against 66.5. These tablets include Android OS (operating system), but Sony Xperia Tablet Z has the newer 4.4.4 version while Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has Android 4.4.2 version. Although the Sony Xperia Tablet Z and Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 were released with only 3 months difference, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z body is much heavier but a lot thinner than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0's processor is very similar to Xperia Tablet Z's processing unit, because although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a smaller amount of RAM and an inferior number of cores , it also counts with a better graphics co-processor.
