Comparison review
The Xperia Tablet Z has a general score of 68.5, which is much better than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids's score of 57.5. Even though Xperia Tablet Z and GALAXY Tab 3 Kids were released only a few months apart, Xperia Tablet Z's design is way heavier but also noticeably thinner. These devices have Android OS, but the Xperia Tablet Z has a more recent 4.4.4 version while GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has Android 4.1 version, so it provides a couple additional features and enhanced performance.
The Sony Xperia Tablet Z features a bit sharper screen than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a better screen pixels density, a lot higher 1200 x 1920 pixels resolution and a way larger screen. Xperia Tablet Z has a very superior storage for applications and games than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB and 32 GB internal memory capacity.
Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a better CPU than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a GPU, more CPU cores and more RAM. Xperia Tablet Z counts with a very superior battery duration than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a 50% more battery size. The Xperia Tablet Z shoots much clearer photographs and videos than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a camera in the back with way more megapixels.
Although Xperia Tablet Z is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, giving up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
