Comparison review
The Xperia Tablet Z is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, with a score of 68.5 against 65.6. Although the Xperia Tablet Z is older and heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, it's design is still much thinner. These devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia Tablet Z has a newer 4.4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has Android 4.4.2.
Xperia Tablet Z counts with a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a way better 1200 x 1920 pixels resolution, a just a little higher pixel amount in each inch in the display and a way larger display. The Xperia Tablet Z counts with a very superior storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 64 GB, the Xperia Tablet Z also has 32 GB internal memory.
The Sony Xperia Tablet Z features a bit better CPU than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have 4 cores, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z also has an extra graphics processor and 512 MB more RAM. The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 captures a bit better photographs and videos than Xperia Tablet Z, although it has a lot worse 3 mega-pixels resolution camera and a much lower video resolution.
Xperia Tablet Z features a superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
Although Sony Xperia Tablet Z is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0. If you are trying to save some money, you can get the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your savings.
