Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a much sharper display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a higher screen density, a way higher 1200 x 1920 resolution and a larger display.
The Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a greater memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has an external memory card slot that holds up to 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a slightly better camera than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a way more megapixels back camera and a lot higher (Full HD) video quality.
