Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a global score of 68.5, which is better than the Galaxy Tab E's score of 60.7. These devices use Android operating system, but the Sony Xperia Tablet Z has newer 4.4.4 version while Galaxy Tab E has Android 4.4 version. Sony Xperia Tablet Z's design has the same weight than Galaxy Tab E, but it is thinner.

The Xperia Tablet Z counts with a much more vibrant display than Galaxy Tab E, because it has a way higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels, a higher pixels density and a little bigger screen. The Xperia Tablet Z features a bit superior CPU than Galaxy Tab E, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Xperia Tablet Z also has 512 MB more RAM and an extra graphics co-processor.
