Comparison review

Xperia Tablet Z has an overall score of 68.5, which is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab E 8.0's 64.9 overall score. The Xperia Tablet Z design is thinner than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, although it's a lot heavier and was released many years before. Both tablets we are comparing here come with Android operating system, but Xperia Tablet Z has the previous 4.4.4 version and Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version.

The Sony Xperia Tablet Z has an incredibly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has a larger screen, a bit higher display pixels density and a way higher 1200 x 1920 resolution. The Xperia Tablet Z features a bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 16 GB more internal storage capacity.

Xperia Tablet Z features a bit superior processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, and although they both have 4 cores, the Xperia Tablet Z also has an additional graphics processor and more RAM. The Xperia Tablet Z has better battery life than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity instead of 5000mAh.

Galaxy Tab E 8.0 shoots better videos and photos than Xperia Tablet Z, although it has a way worse 1280x720 (HD) video quality and a camera in the back with a way worse 5 MP resolution.
