Comparison review
The Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet is just a bit better than Xperia Tablet Z, having a global score of 69.8 against 68.5. The Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet construction is newer, just a little thinner and lighter than Xperia Tablet Z. These tablets work with the same Android 4.4.4 operating system, so you shouldn't notice any differences in that aspect.
The Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet features a little faster processor than Sony Xperia Tablet Z, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet also has more RAM memory and a better graphics co-processor running at 450 MHz. The Xperia Z2 Tablet has a slightly better looking screen than Sony Xperia Tablet Z. They have exactly the same resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels, a display of the same size and the same amount of pixels in each screen inch.
The Xperia Tablet Z features a much bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet, and although they both have an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB, the Xperia Tablet Z also has 32 GB internal memory capacity. Xperia Z2 Tablet and Sony Xperia Tablet Z have quite similar batteries performance.
