Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a global score of 68.5, which is a little bit better than Xperia Tablet Z's 67.2 global score. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with Windows 8.1 Pro OS, while Xperia Tablet Z comes with Android 4.2.2 OS. Microsoft Surface Pro 3's design is newer than Xperia Tablet Z's, although it's extremely thicker and a lot heavier.

Xperia Tablet Z features a little better hardware performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has 6 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of cores and an extra GPU.
