Xperia Z2 Tablet is much better than Asus MeMO Pad 8, getting a 69.8 score against 61.2. Although Xperia Z2 Tablet and Asus MeMO Pad 8 were released only 3 months apart, the Xperia Z2 Tablet construction is somewhat thinner but extremely heavier. Both of these tablets have Android operating system, but the Xperia Z2 Tablet has a more recent 4.4.4 version while Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4, so it provides the user lots of additional features and better performance.
The Xperia Z2 Tablet counts with a slightly better looking display than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because although it has a just a bit worse pixels density, and they both have an equal resolution of 1200 x 1920, the Xperia Z2 Tablet also counts with a bigger display. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with a lot bigger memory to store more apps and games than Xperia Z2 Tablet, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has 16 GB more internal memory capacity.
The Xperia Z2 Tablet counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Asus MeMO Pad 8, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Xperia Z2 Tablet also has an extra graphics processor and 1 GB more RAM memory. Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet has a really longer battery duration than Asus MeMO Pad 8.
Xperia Z2 Tablet captures slightly better photographs and videos than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because it has a way better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and a camera with a way higher resolution.
Xperia Z2 Tablet is a lot more expensive than Asus MeMO Pad 8, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
