The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet, having a general score of 75.1 against 69.8. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 construction is newer than Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet's, although it's notably thicker and a lot heavier. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 comes with Windows 10 Pro operating system, while Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet has Android 4.4.4 operating system.
The Xperia Z2 Tablet features a much faster processor than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with 4 more processing cores and a GPU. Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet counts with a bit sharper display than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, although it has a just a little worse screen pixels density, a bit smaller display and a much lower resolution of 1200 x 1920px.
